We are also trialling a Veggie Bag service to get our veggies straight to your door!
At this stage, no we do not. Our market garden is closed to the public.
However, if you would like to purchase any vegetables during the week for collection from our address (10 minutes drive South of Alexandra town), please send us an email or direct message on Facebook. We are always happy to organise a fresh harvest for you to collect at a scheduled time, subject to availability.
Great question! There are both domestic and international laws that prohibit the use of the term "organic" in advertising without proper legal certification.
Certification can be a costly and lengthy process for a small business like ourselves, so we have elected not to pursue this at this stage. We do however strongly believe in the importance of organic growing, and use no synthetic sprays nor pesticides during our growing process. Without undergoing the certification process, our market garden is classified as "Spray-Free".
We grow a wide variety of vegetables that are suited to our Central Otago climate, including some heritage varieties you won't typically come across in supermarkets!
