THE MAN BEHIND THE GREENS
Robbie Morris
Robbie began growing vegetables and selling at the local markets part-time outside of his regular full-time tradesman job.
He quickly realised working the land and providing people with wholesome, nutritious food was his true passion. After hearing and seeing the huge demand from locals for fresh, spray-free produce from his time at the markets, Robbie decided to take the plunge into making The Paddock Fruitlands his full-time venture in January 2024.
Robbie is thrilled with the reception of his produce, and is continuing to expand the productive area of The Paddock to provide even more goodness to our loyal locals who are hungry for more!

ABOUT THE PADDOCK FRUITLANDS
At The Paddock Fruitlands, we are dedicated to cultivating 100% spray-free (uncertified organic) vegetables. We grow a variety of seasonal greens, root vegetables, brassicas, and alliums that thrive in the open air of our changeable Central Otago climate.

HOW DO WE GROW?
100% Spray-free
meaning no added synthetic chemicals nor pesticides are used during our growing process.
Natural Fertilisers
We predominantly fertilise The Paddock using a blend of compost, manure (sheep, horse, and chicken), and seaweed fertiliser.
Regenerative Practice
Any waste we produce from our growing processes such as inedible parts of plants, plants that have ceased production, and any vegetable waste unfit for consumption are all either converted to compost or fed to the animals on our farm.
